Windows 7 taskbar button properties

There is something that made me cry a couple of times: when you right-click on a Windows 7 task bar icon, there is no properties menu.
When you need to see where the program launched by the button is, or to add/change a parameter in the command, this is most annoying!
I NEED to access the properties of this damn shorcut!
Well actually the good news is that they are not that far. Now take a deep breath and... right click the right click! More seriously, right-click the main entry of the context menu that appears when you right-click the taskbar icon!
Fun stuff: I owe this tip to my two years old daughter. Last weekend, she was bullying the computer and she accidentally made something like the 2nd screenshot appear on the screen. I immediatly took the mouse and tried several things and finally found the feature accidentally discovered ;=) As silly as it may seem, rightclicking the context menu entry was quite a good idea!...
